Import a CSV from your platform

How imports work, which platforms we support today, and how to avoid duplicates.

3 min read

Horizon understands CSV/XLSX exports from a growing list of platforms. Upload the file straight from the platform — the right parser kicks in automatically based on the portfolio name.

Platforms supported today

  • Mintos — Account statement CSV.
  • Debitum — Transaction history CSV.
  • Indemo — Transactions CSV.
  • FF Forest — Transactions CSV.
  • Urbanitae — investment PDF (dedicated parser).

For crypto you self-custody, you don't need a CSV: paste a Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP or Stellar (XLM) address and Horizon syncs over the blockchain. We cover that in another guide.

How to import

  1. Open the portfolio you just created.
  2. Click Import in the header.
  3. Drag your CSV/XLSX/PDF onto the drop zone, or browse for it.
  4. Horizon detects the date range, tells you how many rows it sees, and removes any duplicates in that range before inserting the new entries.
  5. Confirm. You'll see the progress live.

Avoiding duplicates

Before loading a new CSV, Horizon removes every entry already in that portfolio within the file's date range and inserts them again from the file. This is the most reliable way to keep your portfolio in sync without piling up duplicates.

Next time you import (say, next month), export from the platform starting from the day after the last entry you already have in Horizon. You'll find that date on the import page itself, under “Last imported entry”.
