AI connector

Connect Horizon with Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Generate an MCP token and connect it to your AI of choice to ask about your portfolio.

4 min read

Horizon implements the open MCP standard (Model Context Protocol). Generate a token in-app and plug it into your AI client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf or any compatible one — so it can read your portfolios in real time. Read-only: the AI can never create or modify anything.

1. Generate your token

  1. Go to Settings from the avatar menu.
  2. Find the MCP connector section and click New token.
  3. Give it a name (e.g. “Claude” or “ChatGPT”) and copy it. It's only shown once: if you lose it, revoke it and create another.

2. Add the connector in your AI

The process is similar across clients: you add a remote MCP server with Horizon's URL and paste your token.

Claude (Desktop or web)

  • Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  • URL: https://horizon.federlabs.com/api/mcp
  • Authentication → Bearer token → paste your hzn_… token

ChatGPT (Plus / Pro)

  • Settings → Connectors → Add MCP server.
  • URL: https://horizon.federlabs.com/api/mcp
  • Token: paste your hzn_… token

Cursor, Windsurf, Zed

Each editor has its own MCP settings section. Add a remote server with the same URL and token above.

3. Try it

Ask your AI things like “how's my portfolio doing this month?” or “how much did I earn in dividends in May?”. You'll see it answer with real data.
